A seemingly unambitious, university drop out welcomes home his younger sister who left to attend university and go travelling, leaving him to look after their alcoholic mother.
ABOUT PROJECT
Sparrow is a Northern Ireland Screen funded short, made through their New Shorts Focus Scheme.
Written and directed by Rebekah Davis, produced by Julie Gardner of Lacada Entertainment (The Climb, My Favourite Paul) and starring Lola Petticrew (Bump Along the Way, Come Home) and Christopher Grant (The Party).
Sparrow screened at festivals including the Women in Film & Television Short Film Showcase, Belfast Film Festival and London Independent Film Festival. Winner of the 25th Film Devour’s Audience Choice Award.
